Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> February 1, 2021 <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Town Manager Rodney Collins: <br /> Discussion of Fiscal Year 2022 Capital Improvement Program: (continued) <br /> Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to adopt the FY2022 Capital Improvement Budget as <br /> presented, and support the placement of the DNR facilities as a separate article on the Special Town <br /> Meeting warrant with the remainder of the CIP budget on the Annual Town Meeting warrant of <br /> May 2021 as identified. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Sherman. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes Selectman Sherman,yes <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Weeden, yes Opposed, none <br /> LIAISON REPORTS <br /> Community Preservation Committee: The CPC is expected to finalize the submission of articles for the <br /> May Town Meeting at their next meeting. <br /> Finance Committee: The Select Board is scheduled to meet with the Finance Committee next week. <br /> Town Seal Committee: The Town Seal Committee has reconvened. Funding has been identified for <br /> design work and a survey is forthcoming to gain community input. It was suggested the Mashpee <br /> Chamber of Commerce be involved in the survey process. <br /> Assembly of Delegates: The Cape Cod Commission is attempting to establish a zero-carbon footprint for <br /> the year 2050 and beyond. For awareness, guidelines and requirements would need to be met to establish <br /> a zero-carbon footprint on Cape Cod. <br /> TOWN MANAGER UPDATES <br /> Housing Assistance Program: The in-house Housing Assistance Program has improved upon its guidelines. <br /> There was no objection from the Select Board. The Human Services Department is directed to move forward <br /> with operations. It was noted that applications are in que for this much-needed program. <br />
