O'Hara would be participating virtually and <br /> remotely for this meeting. <br /> MINUTES <br /> Monday October 5 2020 Regular and Executive Sessions-, Monday October 19, 2020 Regular Session: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to approve the Regular and Executive Session minutes of Monday, <br /> October 5, 2020 and Regular Session minutes of Monday, October 19,2020 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Sherman. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes Selectman Sherman,yes <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Weeden,yes Opposed, none <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> Public Comment: None at this time. <br /> Public Hearing: (Continued from August 24, 2020): <br /> Adoption of a Local Licensing Regulation per G L c 138, $23 and Board of Selectmen Policy#068 Alcoholic <br /> Beverages Licenses (Section III—Package Store All Alcohol) Banning the Sale of Alcohol Nips (50 mil) (50 <br /> milliliter(ml) container) and Further Banning the Sale of Alcohol Nips in Containers of up to 100 ml in size, <br /> as a Condition of any New Renewed and/or Transferred License for Establishments Licensed Pursuant to G.L. <br /> c 138 §15 Based on Considerations of Public Health, Welfare and Safety: <br /> Acting as the Licensing Authority for the Town of Mashpee, the Board of Selectmen opened the Public <br /> Hearing continued from August 24, 2020 on the Banning of the Sale of Alcohol Nips (50 ml) and the Banning <br /> of the Sale of Alcohol Nips in Containers of up to 100 ml in size as a Condition of any New, Renewed and/or <br /> Transferred License based on the considerations of public health, welfare and safety. Carol A. Sherman, Clerk <br /> read the Public Hearing Notice into record in accordance with posting requirements. <br /> It was disclosed that numerous emails both for and against were received in the response to this Public <br /> Hearing. The Board was also in receipt of a petition to stop the ban on small sized liquor bottles. <br /> Communication with respect to this regard is retained on file in the Office of the Town Manager/Board of <br /> Selectmen. <br />
