5 <br /> Finance Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> March 11, 2021 <br /> Article 7 <br /> To see if the Town will vote pursuant to G.L. Chapter 40, Section 15A to authorize the transfer of <br /> care, custody and control of that portion of the Town owned conservation land, described as <br /> Parcel C (0-Mashpee Neck Rd) as shown on the Plan entitled Clippership Village of Mashpee <br /> Property Owners Association, plan dated June 8th, 1998 from Cape & Islands Engineering, <br /> (Mashpee Assessors' Map 76 as Block 60), in Mashpee consisting of 2.7 acres, more or less as <br /> described in the deed recorded in the Barnstable County Registry of Deeds in Book 29977 Page <br /> 223, from the Conservation Commission to the Board of Selectmen and/or Sewer Commission <br /> for purposes of the development and construction of a sewer pumping station and related <br /> appurtenances; to authorize the Board of Selectmen and Conservation Commission to petition <br /> the General Court for authorization and approval of such transfer in custody and change in use <br /> as is required under Article 97 of the Amendments to the Constitution of the Commonwealth of <br /> Massachusetts; and, further, to authorize the Board of Selectmen/ Sewer Commission and <br /> Conservation Commission to enter into such agreements and execute any and all instruments on <br /> behalf of the Town, upon such terms and conditions as they shall deem to be in the best interest <br /> of the Town,to effect said transfer in custody and change in use;or take any other action relative <br /> thereto. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Miller to recommend the sewer pumping substation article as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Richardson. <br /> VOTE: Motion carries. 5-1. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Mr. Pettengill, yes Mr. McKelvey, no Mr. Richardson, yes <br /> Mr. Miller, yes Mr. Brady, yes Mr. Carrier, yes Opposed, (1) <br /> Article 11 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of $250,000 from revenue <br /> available for appropriation, to be deposited into special injury leave indemnity fund, (Injured on <br /> Duty Fund), in accordance with the provisions of General Law Chapter 41, Section 111F for the <br /> purposes of funding injury leave compensation or medical bills incurred under said law, or take <br /> any other action relating thereto. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Richardson to recommend the Injury Leave Indemnity Fund. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Brady. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 6-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Mr. Pettengill, yes Mr. McKelvey,yes Mr. Richardson, yes <br /> Mr. Miller, yes Mr. Brady, yes Mr. Carrier, yes Opposed, none <br />
