6 <br /> Finance Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> March 4, 2021 <br /> SPECIAL TOWN MEETING WARRANT <br /> Article <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of $850,000 from the Capital <br /> Stabilization Fund to the Natural Resources Capital Account for the purchase and customization <br /> of facilities for the Department of Natural Resources, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 7-0. <br /> Article <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer pursuant to the provisions of M.G.L. C. <br /> 448, §6 to reserve from the Community Preservation Fund Budgeted for Appropriation Reserve, <br /> the following amounts: <br /> $32,620 10% Open Space/Recreation Purposes <br /> $32,620 10% Historic Purposes <br /> $32,620 10%Affordable Housing Purposes <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 7-0. <br /> Article <br /> To see if the town will appropriate and transfer from the Transportation Network Company Per <br /> Ride Assessment (TNC) Receipts Reserved Fund, the sum of$5,275 to the Department of Public <br /> Works Road Maintenance Account, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Information is requested regarding this appropriation, and why it was not done in the past. <br /> This article is a result of the past (3) years of funding received from prior per ride assessments <br /> such as Uber, at a cost distribution of $.20 per ride. This is a fairly new funding source that is <br /> required to be designated for public road maintenance. Funding in the amount of$5,275 will be <br /> deposited into the DPW Road Maintenance Account. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Miller to release the hold and recommend the TNC Per Ride Assessment. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Brady. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 7-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Mr. Pettengill,yes Mr. McKelvey, yes Mrs. Furbush, yes Mr. Richardson, yes <br /> Mr. Miller, yes Mr. Brady, yes Mr. Carrier, yes Opposed, none <br />
