Mashpee Planning Board <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> April 21,2021 at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Mashpee Town Hall-Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> 16 Great Neck Road North-Mashpee <br /> Approved 05/05/2021 <br /> Virtual/Remote Meeting-Call In (508) 539-1400 x8585 <br /> Broadcast Live on Local Channel 18 & Streaming at www.mashpeema.gov/channel-18 <br /> Present: Chairman John(Jack) Phelan, Mary Waygan, Dennis Balzarini, John Fulone and <br /> Joseph Callahan <br /> Absent: Robert(Rob) Hansen(Alt.) <br /> Also Present: Evan Lehrer-Town Planner, Attorney Eliza Cox, Arnold Buff Chase (Mashpee <br /> Commons LP), Paul Niedzwiecki (Mashpee Commons LP) <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chairman Phelan opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m. and welcomed Planning Board members to the <br /> meeting. Due to the pandemic and Town of Mashpee regulations,the meeting was being held <br /> virtually, but the Chair announced that it was being live streamed on Channel 18 and could also <br /> be viewed at wwJ.mash ep ema.gov/charuie118. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br /> Chairman Phelan first announced that this meeting is not open to public comment but there will <br /> be many opportunities for the public to participate at a later date. The public is invited to submit <br /> questions or comments to the Town Planner at elehrer(jc mashpeema.goy. These comments will <br /> be forwarded to the Board and presented at the next Planning Board Meeting. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES—March 17, 2021 <br /> There were no comments regarding the minutes. <br /> MOTION: Mr. Balzarini made a motion to approve the minutes. Mr. Callahan seconded <br /> the motion. All voted unanimously to accept the minutes as presented. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Presentation of conceptual Community Activity Center Overlay District proposal from the <br /> Mashpee Commons team. <br /> Chair Phelan announced the first item is a presentation of a conceptual Community Activity <br /> Center Overlay District proposal from Mashpee Commons. The presentation presents an <br /> opportunity to listen and to collaborate. <br /> Attorney Eliza Cox from Nutter, McClennen &Fish LLP began by stating that she was pleased <br /> to be with the Planning Board on behalf of Mashpee Commons Limited Partnership. She added <br /> that Buff Chase with Mashpee Commons II LLC and GNRSMA LLC were collectively the <br /> applicants in the three party development agreement application submitted to the Cape Cod <br /> Commission. <br /> 1 <br />
