Agent said MRCS is in the final stages of a conceptual plan for the Johns Pond fish
ladder and spillway. The plan will address erosion issues.
Mr. Smith said he walked the new NEMBA path and it looks like they did a wonderful
job.
Mr. Colombo asked that minutes identify which way people vote on motions, specifically
those opposed and abstentions.
Mr. Colombo asked who we contact to report dogs being off leashes on beaches,
potentially harming the Plovers. Agent said the State beach would be DNR, the town
beach would be the Conservation Department and/or DNR that could work in
conjunction with the Police. We can also notify Audubon, We could notify the Board of
Selectmen to make them aware and ask them to issue a proclamation if it is getting out
of hand. Katelyn Cadoret also suggested calling Animal Control.
Mr. Sweet mentioned we could have the Town post something on social media.
Mr, Colombo said that he was not sure how to review the list of parcels the Town sent
to choose for the land swap. Agent said we'll set up a zoom meeting to go over the list,
but that using GIS is the best tool. Also, perhaps the first parcel listed at 0 Wakeby
Road is the best option, as it meets the most important criteria we're looking for.
Mr. Colombo asked who to contact about getting ID lanyards, Agent said he'll contact
the Police.
Mr. Weeden asked that the subcommittee looking at the parcels from the Town be
added as an item on the agenda so we can all get updates going forward.
ADJOURNMENT:
Motion made by Mr. Sweet to adjourn.
Motion seconded by Mr. Dalton.
Vote: 6-0-0
Roll Call Vote:
Mr. Smith, yes
Mr. Sweet, yes
Mr. O'Neill, yes
Mr. Colombo, yes
Mr. Weeden, yes
Mr. Dalton, yes
In favor, 6; Opposed, 0; Abstentions, 0
Meeting adjourned at 7:30pm.
Respectfully
u b m't7
d,
Katrina ing,
Boar SP6tary
