The Pledge of <br /> Allegiance was recited. The sign in sheet for public comment was turned into the Chairman. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINTUES—June 16, 2021 and June 21, 2021 <br /> There were no comments regarding the meeting minutes for June 16, 2021 and June 21, 2021. <br /> Ms. Waygan asked for a moment to look through the notes. <br /> MOTION: <br /> Mr. Balzarini made a motion to accept the minutes for both June 16th and June 21st. Seconded <br /> by Mr. Phelan. All in favor. <br /> Tonight is the first of a series of meetings regarding specific topics in relation to the CAC. Tonight's <br /> discussion is around subzones and uses. Chairman asked that citizens wishing to comment stay <br /> focused on the topic of the meeting. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT RELATIVE TO MASHPEE COMMONS DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT <br /> Judith Conway- She feels offended that an article in the paper portrayed her concerned colleagues as <br /> negative. They are concerned citizens that are hoping this proposal will be done correctly while <br /> protecting the environment and taking into account the issues. The facts are not forthcoming about fire <br /> safety. Mr. Phelan informed her there is a 20 year old ladder truck in good shape that could reach <br /> people in 4-5 story unit. Do we have egress? Big ladder truck coming in has to go down an alley, <br /> extenders need to be put out, has anyone thought about this? It was also concerning that the Cape Cod <br /> Chamber of Commerce gives their blanket approval without any facts forthcoming. <br /> 1 <br />
