MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> JUNE 9, 2021 <br /> Brendan Driscoll represented himself for Special Permit relief of his electrical shop <br /> business. He presented through virtual remote access. The business has been active in this <br /> building since 2017. They applied for a building permit that was issued,and completed the <br /> process in 2017. He was contacted by the Building Department that there was no Special <br /> Permit issued for his business, and he is applying for that now. He has a second location <br /> located in Medford, MA. <br /> Mr. Furbush wanted to confirm that the site plan and everything that was proposed is <br /> accurate and completed. <br /> Mr. Morris confirmed that everything was accurate as Mr. Driscoll mentioned.The project <br /> was presented at Plan Review and he was given recommendations to apply for the ZBA, <br /> but it was overlooked. He was issued a building permit by Building Commissioner at the <br /> time. The statute of limitations is six years to apply, and it was the fifth year. The building <br /> is exactly what was proposed, and is the correct use under the bylaw. Mr. Morris said that <br /> it was just an oversite by the applicant. <br /> Chairman Furbush polled the Board for comments. Mr. Bonvie wanted to confirm that <br /> everything was to the Building Commissioner's satisfaction. <br /> There were no other questions from the Board. <br /> Mr. Bonvie made a motion that the Board issue a Special Permit to Driscoll Cape 1969, <br /> LLC at 61 Echo Road under §174-25 (G) (4) and (G) (6) of the Zoning Bylaws to allow <br /> for (4,500 sq. ft.) warehouse space, (1,500 sq. ft.) front office space, and a second story <br /> storage area of(1,500 sq. ft.),to be utilized as an electrical shop on property located in the <br /> I-1 and Light Industrial Overlay Zoning Districts,Map 19 Parcel 3-6,Mashpee,MA.(Note: <br /> Building Permit was issued back in 2016), with the following conditions: <br /> 1. The Board has determined that the applicant meets all the conditions of a Special <br /> Permit under Mass General Law 40A Section 9. <br /> 2.
