The Chair asked Chris Gallagher if he could
provide any more explanation regarding the concerns regarding the contract. Mr.
Gallagher explained his analysis and what his concerns were regarding the design of Rte.
151. He thought that much of the proposed work was unnecessary and too expensive.
Mr. Fudala explained that this was also intended to be a a preliminary design for the
collection system in the western part of town, partly so that the size and location of the
pipes under Route 151 could be designed now and that Chris may not have been aware
of that intent. Chris Gallagher reiterated his concerns and offered the idea that we could
always just put a few sewer sleeves under 151 for now.
