Mr. Tilton seconded <br /> the motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> Approve October 2011 Residential Tonnage of 1,885.90 Tons for Reporting to SEMASS <br /> Total Residential and Commercial is 3,104.33 tons <br /> Mr. Tilton made a motion to approve the tonnage for October 2011. Ms. Laurent seconded <br /> the motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> SWAC <br /> Mr. Tilton reported that the draft minutes of SWAC were awaiting final revisions and approval. <br /> Revised tonnage numbers were reviewed. Mr. Tilton explained that 100,000 tons per year was <br /> estimated but that the actual number, which would be used for negotiation, totaled 82,000 tons, a <br /> drop of approximately 18,000. It was noted that Brewster would be removed from the tonnage <br /> since they had already negotiated their contract. Mr. Tilton indicted that Bourne remained on the <br /> short list as a consideration for a regional agreement since they could not provide a 20 year <br /> capacity for the entire Cape. Other companies being considered include SEMASS, Waste. <br /> Management and E.L. Harvey. Mr. Tilton also announced that grant had been received in <br /> order to hire a consultant to assist towns with pay-as-you-throw. Mr. Tilton introduced Rob <br /> Angel, manager of the Yarmouth Landfill, in order to explain the changes occurring in <br /> Yarmouth. <br /> Mr. Angel stated that the Yarmouth Board of Selectmen and Town Administrator required an <br /> audit of the Yarmouth Transfer Station, which had been operating as an Enterprise Fund, due to <br /> the loss of funds over the past few years.
