Mrs. Bartlett called the meeting to order at 5:30pm in the Quashnet School library followed by the <br /> Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> 2. *Ratify agenda of August 25, 2021 <br /> Note: Any questions posed by individual School Committee members in advance of this meeting and <br /> ithe responses thereto are poste on the District's we site ���l`m,;�,�:�iml ( rul,m:m:ui:t1:�^;�� P :�llli,i^l," and on <br /> page) <br /> Mr. Myers made a motion, seconded by Mr. Weeden,to ratify the agenda of August 25,2021. <br /> Roll Call Vote: In favor: Mrs. Bartlett, Mr. Myers,Mrs. Lewis (remote), Mr. Davis, Mr. Weeden <br /> Opposed: None <br /> 3. Public Comment <br /> Four community members expressed their opinions regarding the mask mandate. <br /> 4. *Mashpee Face Coverings Policy(EBCFA) <br /> Mr. Weeden stated that the policy committee met and recommended changes as proposed in the handout. <br /> Mr. Weeden,made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Lewis,to approve the Mashpee Face Coverings Policy <br /> (EBCFA) as presented. <br /> Roll Call Vote: In favor: Mrs. Bartlett, Mr. Myers, Mrs. Lewis (remote), Mr. Davis, Mr. Weeden <br /> Opposed: None <br /> 5. SY 21-22 Planning (as of 8/25/21) <br /> Mrs. DeBoer shared that we are all set for staff and students to return to school next week and shared an <br /> overview of the upcoming school year. Safety and COVID protocols are in place. She reviewed the <br /> student schedules and stated that there is no remote learning this year. Free lunch will be provided for all <br /> students. We are planning after-school activities at all schools. Seating will be two students to a bus seat <br /> (possibly 3 with small children). All students will be using hand sanitizer as they board the bus and will be <br /> wearing masks. At this time, no visitors will be allowed in the buildings. At the MMHS, athletics is <br /> moving forward. A staff health and wellness zoom meeting will take place and a family health and <br /> wellness zoom meeting as well. Nurse Stacey Schakel shared that a vaccination clinic will take place on <br /> September 8, 2021 at Christ the King Church and will be sponsored by the Community Health Center and <br /> Mashpee Fire. Department. <br />
