Update of FY22 Budget <br /> Process is beginning. Some items are encumbered. <br /> Food Services Salary Schedule for FY22,FY23,FY24 <br /> Mrs. Lewis made a motion, seconded by Mr. Myers,to approve the food services salary schedule for FY22, <br /> FY23,FY24 as presented. <br /> Roll Call Vote: In favor: Mrs. Bartlett,Mr. Myers, Mrs. Lewis, Mr. Davis, Mr. Weeden <br /> Opposed: none <br /> 8. Subcommittees/Liaison Meetings/Working Groups <br /> No reporting at this time. <br /> 9. Specifically Assigned/Unfinished Business <br /> Post MAGNA Award Happenings -NSBA Presentation Proposal was submitted on July 29, 2021 <br /> and acknowledged. We are currently waiting for response to our proposal. <br /> Mashpee Middle-High School Handbook updates for SY21-22 <br /> On behalf of Mr. Balestracci, Mrs. DeBoer presented the changes to the MMHS handbook. <br /> Mr. Weeden made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Lewis,to approve the changes to the MMHS handbook as <br /> presented. <br /> Roll Call Vote: In favor: Mrs. Bartlett,Mr. Myers, Mrs. Lewis,Mr. Davis, Mr. Weeden <br /> Opposed: none <br /> 10. New Business <br /> There was discussion regarding the addition of an August 25, 2021 School Committee meeting to the current <br /> schedule. <br /> Mr. Davis made a motion, seconded by Mr. Weeden, to approve the addition of the August 25, 2021 School <br /> Committee meeting to be held at the Quashnet School library at 5:30pm. <br /> Roll Call Vote: In favor: Mrs. Bartlett,Mr. Myers, Mrs. Lewis,Mr. Davis, Mr. Weeden <br /> Opposed: none <br /> 2021 Family Opinion Survey Data and Take-Aways <br /> Mrs. DeBoer stated that the family opinion survey has been sent to families for the past four years and shared <br /> the feedback from these surveys. <br /> Upcoming Events (August/September) <br /> Mrs. DeBoer shared the district's upcoming beginning of the school year events which include new employee <br /> orientation with bus tour of Mashpee, substitute orientation, Voices of the First Light professional <br /> development provided by the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe, bus driver/monitor meeting, a grade three <br /> scavenger hunt, grade 7 Jump Start event, convocation information, the first day of school date, individual <br /> school Open House and family BBQ, to name a few. All School Committee members were invited to attend <br /> any of the upcoming events. <br /> NSBA Annual Conference-April 2-4,2022 in San Diego, CA <br /> Mashpee's proposal to NSBA, "Becoming a Connected Community",will be submitted by July 30, 2021 and <br /> was discussed previously (Item 8). <br /> Plans are underway for Mashpee's participation in the NSBA annual conference in San Diego, CA from April <br /> 1, 2022 through April 4, 2022. <br />
