Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes-Executive Session <br /> March 16 2020 <br /> Discuss Strategy Re ardinjz Negotiations with Nonunion Personnel (Personnel Administration <br /> Plan) and the Following Collective Bargaining Units where an Open Meeting MU have-a <br /> Detrimental Effect on the Bargaining Position of the Town: (continued) <br /> Town Manager Rodney C. Collins discussed in detail,the settlement agreements proposed for <br /> funding at the May 4,2020 Annual;Town Meeting. <br /> Town Manager Rodney C. Collins recommended the Board accept the Collective Bargaining <br /> settlements as identified. Contractual disbursements have been reserved in the FY2021 budget to <br /> derive from Funds Available'for Appropriation, <br /> Assistant Town Manager Wayne E. Taylor and Human Resources Director Kim Landry were <br /> acknowledged for their input in the negotiation process. Town Counsel has vetted the contractual <br /> settlements and a considerable savings has been realized with the in'-house support and absence of <br /> labor counsel attending daily meetings. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cotton to accept the recommendation of the Town Manager to <br /> settle the following Collective Bargaining Units and P.A.P. Agreement as identified; <br /> P <br /> Mashpee Permanent Fire Fighters Association,International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) <br /> Local 2519, <br /> MASS. C.O.P.,Local 324,Unit A—Patrol Officers and Detectives, <br /> MASS. C.O.P.,Local 320,Unit B—Sergeants, <br /> Laborer's International Union of North America (LIUNA),MASS Public Employee's Local 1249, <br /> Administrator's Unit A—Administrators, <br /> MASS. C.O.P.,Local 477,Unit C—Police Lieutenants, <br /> Service Employees International Union (SEIU),Local 888, Clerical/Library/Dispatchers Chapter, <br /> and the Non-union Personnel Administration Plan P.A.P. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous, 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara, yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Weeden,yes Opposed, none <br />
