Continued from 8126 <br /> Agent gave a brief outline of the last meeting, and pointed out that even though the motion <br /> to close and issue did not pass, there were no other motions made and thus, the project <br /> was effectively continued. Town Counsel has since provided additional feedback to the <br /> Commission <br /> Matt Costa from Cape & Islands Engineering presented plans and described the project. <br /> Assistant Agent acknowledged the fact that the float to the north is the same size as this <br /> request, also that there were no issues with Harbormaster or Shellfish Constable. <br /> Composite decking is recommended on all portions of fixed piers spanning over salt marsh <br /> which provides 50% sunlight penetration. Agent also recommends revegetation of any <br /> exposed areas of coastal bank from the proposed abandonment or replacement of <br /> stairway footprint if deemed necessary from construction impacts. Project meets <br /> performance standards for Land Under Ocean and Land Containing Shellfish. Agents <br /> recommend to close and issue. No other comments. <br /> Asst. Agent requested permission from the Chairman to read a letter from Commissioner <br /> Paul Colombo as he is absent from the meeting. Mr. Smith allowed the letter to be read. <br />
