Chairman, Jonathan D. Furbush, Board Members William A. Blaisdell, Ron Bonvie,
Scott Goldstein, Norman J. Gould, Associate Members George Ganzenmuller, James
Reiffarth and Charlie Reidy were present. Building Commissioner, David Morris was also
present.

Chairman Furbush opened the meeting at 6:00 pm and announced that the hearings were
being televised live on Mashpee TV as a virtual/remote meeting. He will take comments
after each hearing.
CONTINUED HEARINGS

23 Jeep Place: Owners, Hans E. and Sarah J. Brings request a Variance under §174-31 of
the Zoning Bylaws to vary the rear setback, side setback, and lot coverage to allow for a
detached garage on property located in an R-3 Zoning District and the Popponesset Overlay
District, Map 118 Parcel 111, Mashpee, MA. (Continued from the ZBA hearings January
27, 2021 at the request of the Board).

Mr. Bonvie made a motion to accept a letter from Attorney Kirrane dated March 4, 2021
requesting a withdrawal of the Variance application at 23 Jeep Place. Mr. Gould seconded,
yes, Mr. Goldstein, yes, Mr. Bonvie, yes, Mr. Blaisdell, yes, and Mr. Furbush, yes. All
were in favor to accept the withdrawal of the Variance request.

23 Monomoscoy Road West: Owners, Sean B. Burke and Katherine M. Burke, Trustees
request a Special Permit under §174-25 (H) (7) of the Zoning Bylaws to allow for
construction of a stairs and platform for use in connection with a ramp and float complex
on property located in an R-3 Zoning District, Map 114 Parcel 8, Mashpee, MA.
(Continued from the ZBA hearings January 27, 2021 at the request of the Board).

23 Monomoscoy Road West: Owners, Sean B. Burke and Katherine M. Burke, Trustees
request a Variance under §174-31 of the Zoning Bylaws to vary the rear and front setbacks
to allow for construction of a platform and stairs for a float complex on property located in
an R-3 Zoning District, Map 114 Parcel 8, Mashpee, MA. (Continued from the ZBA
hearings January 27, 2021 at the request of the Board).

Attorney Kevin Kirrane represented the applications for the homeowners. This project is
similar to the project that was approved at 31 Wheelhouse Lane and 5 Waterline Drive
North, and New Seabury. This is different because the homeowners own the lot that they
are proposing to construct a platform and stairs. They have a dwelling that is across the
street from this parcel, and they have had a mooring in the pond for several years.
1
