Slattery Trustee —30 Grant Breen Dr.; Clause 17D —Widow's Exemption <br /> Paul Andrews motioned that the personal exemptions be approved as listed in the <br /> agenda. <br /> Gregg Fraser seconded the motion. <br /> VOTE: Yes-3 <br /> Roll Call Vote: John Bartos, yes; Gregg Fraser, yes, Paul Andrews, yes <br /> • Office Update from Director of Assessing —Jason Streebel <br /> Director Streebel updated the Board with regard to both assessing clerks announcing <br /> their intentions to retire. Carol Souza on 7/6/21 and Susan Derome on 7/15/21. The <br /> board thanked them for their many years of fine service to the Assessing Department <br /> and to the Town of Mashpee. Mr. Streebel noted that; as suggested by the Town <br /> Manager, both positions'job descriptions would be rewritten to improve office <br /> workflow and management. One of the positions would be elevated to an <br /> Administrative Assistant and one would remain as an Administrative Secretary. <br /> Director Streebel relayed the sad news that the Sandwich Assessor, Ed Childs, <br /> had passed after a long battle with cancer. The board expressed their condolences <br /> on the loss of a great colleague and friend. <br /> Mr. Streebel also informed the board of the current temporary policy of all office doors <br /> being locked to avoid a further incident of a member of the public gaining <br /> unauthorized access to the interior of any town hall office. <br /> Additional Topics: None <br /> Next Meeting Date: To be determined. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> Paul Andrews motioned to adjourn at 6:17 pm. <br /> John Bartos seconded the motion. <br /> VOTE: Yes-3 <br /> Roll Call Vote: Paul Andrews, yes; Gregg Fraser, yes; John Bartos, yes <br /> Respec Ily submitted, <br /> .n <br /> a on R.
