They reached out to us after doing their inspection. Their plan
was approved in 1998, a subsequent AOOC and RDA were filed to request an
additional driveway, some areas grass plantings, and areas of retaining walls. The
grass never put in, but driveways are there. A drainage basin was part of the OOC.
A COC was never requested/made, and the house has since been sold. There are a
number of issues, a couple of decks were built without any permits. One of the decks
and a stairway are not up to code. One deck is not in the position that was shown.
The drainage basin was not installed. There was an area not to be disturbed, that
had been disturbed as well as a chain link fence that was not approved. As this was
all discovered subsequent to the sale of the home, Agent recommended previous
homeowner file for an after the fact NOI. He doesn't believe the current homeowners
are responsible for any of this.
3 Bay Road- We were alerted to bobcat activity on location. Agent went to the
property and could see the bobcat right away. Homeowner graded out all the existing
ground cover as well as shrubs. Agent issued a stop work order. Owner was
immediately cooperative and removed the fill off the banks and set up erosion control.
An enforcement order was signed tonight.
Updates:
o Childs River restoration- Event for completion by Falmouth Rod and Gun
Club.
o Red Brook Road culvert -Still waiting to hear about DER Priority Project Grant
status.
o Upper Quashnet restoration- No new updates.
