Select Board <br /> Minutes <br /> November 18, 2021 <br /> Water Quality Report: Mashpee Water District Operations Manager: <br /> Mashpee Water District Superintendent Andrew Marks commented on the quality of drinking water <br /> stating"without reservation,the drinking water in the Town of Mashpee is safe today and it has been <br /> safe as long as he has been in Mashpee, 30 years." <br /> The Mashpee Water District has been taking action and has placed the contaminated PFAS wells offline <br /> prior to the State drinking water regulation mandate this past spring. Filters for the two contaminated <br /> Turner Road wells remain offline and are being monitored by project engineers. <br /> NEXT MEETINGS AND TOPICS <br /> The next Joint Regulatory Meeting is Monday, December 13, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. <br /> In moving forward with the 2021 Clean Water Plan, each board is tasked with developing a set of actions. <br /> It was suggested that all Town Boards and Committee's be tasked with developing action steps for <br /> the 2021 Clean Water Plan. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> The meeting adjourned at 8:05 p.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Kathleen Soares <br /> Secretary to the Select Board <br />
