ADA Committee Meeting Minutes
Waquoit Meeting Room
Thursday, October 14, 2021 2:00 p.m.
Present: Jaime Curley, Kimberly Landry
Absent: David Morris, John Cotton, Jean Bowden
CALL TO ORDER: 2:04 PM
The meeting opened and was called to order by Kim Landry at 2:05 PM.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: February 13, 2020
Neither committee member was able to locate a copy of the minutes for approval. Kim will reach
out to the former Vice Chair to see if he has them.
OLD BUSINESS
1. Follow-up on reorganization of committee
Both members present agreed to hold off on electing committee positions until additional
members are appointed. Kim reviewed the current make-up of committee members and
vacancies with the information that she had. Jaime will review the ADA Committee
webpage for the Town of Sandwich in addition to other municipalities who have ADA
Committees for content to include purpose statement.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Review of Citizens Interest Forms for Committee Vacancies
The committee received three letters of interest from Mashpee residents who were
interested in serving on the committee. They were all reviewed and recommended to be
scheduled for an interview. Since some time has passed since the letters of interest were
submitted Kim will reach out via email to all three to see if they are still interested and
available to serve on the committee. She will also inform them that interviews for vacant
committee positions would most likely be conducted at the January meeting. Kim and
Jaime agreed that the committee should develop a set of interview questions at the
December meeting.
2. Review of Town Policy #001 Appointment Policy for Boards, Commissions, Committees
and Councils
