Off <br /> d <br /> i <br /> 3 <br /> .•r <br /> Mr. John Slavinsky of Cape &Islands Engineering represented the applicants and <br /> clarified that the application is not for the operation of a Shell station selling as but for <br /> pp p g gas, <br /> the operation of an automotive repair business. The station will also issue inspection " <br /> stickers. Mr.Al Cormier and Ms.Karen Parent also attended the meeting. <br /> stated that the <br /> Mr. Slavinsky Conservation Commission has approved the project. The <br /> only change made to the plans is the five-foot buffer. ° r <br /> *I <br /> All. ' s <br /> In order to resolve the problem of disposal of used oil,the Board of Health has required <br /> the applicant to install a tank surrounded by a concrete wall with a waterproof roof. The <br /> Board of Health has also required that the entire paved project be bermed to contain any <br /> spill on the subject property. MDC-type basins with oil-absorbing pads will be installed. <br /> The MDC basins will run into a leeching basin.All the drainage and any potential oil <br /> spills will be contained on the subject property. The applicant has contracted with a . <br /> company that will clean the basins and replace the oil-absorbing pads on an annual basis. ; <br /> '41 <br /> The Board of Health contacted the DEP and confirmed that an auto repair facility is an <br /> allowed use within this zone. <br /> Mr. Slavinskystated that the applicant has one before the Site Review Committee twice. ='f <br /> pp g , � � <br /> Changes were made to the style of the building. The original plans show the location of <br /> 1 feet from Route 151. 'taa,, <br /> The Town Planner submitted a memo to the Board of Appeals and suggested that the <br /> project be located 50 feet from Route 151.Mr. Slavinsky stated that the building will be <br /> located 68 feet from Route 151. <br /> On Algonquin Avenue, Mr. Slavinsky unformed the Board that the zoning relief is needed r.
