To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning By-taw to add the <br /> • following to Section 6.3.8. of the 'TABLE OF USE REGULATIONS• with the <br /> designation 'SP' under all zoning district columns: ` <br /> '13. Public, non-profit or commercial campground, for use by <br /> tents, motor homes, travel trailers# -pickup coaches, camping <br /> trailers and similar recreational camping vehicles (but <br /> excluding mobile homes, manufactured homes or other trans- !, <br /> portable residences or other residences intended for long- <br /> term occupancy) may be permitted by special permit from the K' <br /> Planning Board subject to any other regulations -ofthe Board <br /> of Health and other Town, County or State agencies, and <br /> subject to the provisions of Section 9.7.• : ;•' <br /> Also, to add the following new Section -9.7: <br /> 09.7 CAMPGROUNDS - Cam <br /> pgrounds as listed in'Section 6.3.8.15 may <br /> be allowed by Special Permit issued by the Planning Board <br /> under the provisions of Section 6.2 and subject to the a <br /> following regulations: , <br /> (1) No campground may be developed an a site containing <br /> less than ten (10) acres of upland area. <br /> (2) The maximum allowable number of campsites shall be f ' ' <br /> calculated as four (4) times the total square footage <br /> of the site, divided by the minimum lot size <br /> applicabie to the site, excluding any wetland or <br /> easement as noted in Subsection 7.4 'LAND SPACE <br /> REQUIREMENTS TABLE• foot- note (12) . ' <br /> (4) Each campsite shall have a minimum area of 2500 square <br /> feet and a minimum width of 30 feet. No more than <br /> 1500 square feet may be cleared or otherwise developed <br /> for camping or parking on each site. <br /> (5) Where vehicular access is not provided directly to a <br /> campsite, a minimum of one parking space per site <br /> shall be provided in a reasonably convenient location. <br />
