Owner of record: Town of Mashpee <br /> (EDIC). <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper of <br /> general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on May 8, 2015 and May 15, 2015 a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A §9 and the Town of Mashpee <br /> Zoning By-laws. <br /> Public Hearings were held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals <br /> were present;Mr. Jonathan Furbush, Chairman, Mr. William A. Blaisdell,Vice Chairman, <br /> Mr. Ron Bonvie, Clerk, Mr. Dom DeBarros, Board Member, and Mr. Scott Goldstein, <br /> Associate Member. Also present was Michael Mendoza, Building Commissioner. <br /> Mr. Furbush pointed out that Associate Member, Scott Goldstein is stepping down <br /> because he is an abutter which leaves only four Board members and would require all four <br /> members to vote positive. The Board is also concerned that the engineering plans be <br /> reviewed by a consultant who represents the Town. This is a concern that has been <br /> discussed at previous hearings upon receiving prior commercial/industrial applications. <br /> Mr. Bunker addressed the Board and said that Charlie Rowley reviewed'the preliminary <br /> plan at the Plan Review Meeting. <br /> Mr. Steve Haddad,Builder representing the applicants introduced Mr. Tom Bunker <br /> at BSS Design, and the owners of Clipper Landscape Design, Mike Szarlan, and Dan <br /> McLaughlin. Mr. Haddad said that Clipper Landscape currently has their business in <br /> Falmouth, Ma. They purchased the Mashpee property from EDIC and expect to expand <br /> their business to thirty employees during the summer. <br /> 1 <br />
