Mr. Streebel stated that valuations and new growth <br />had been approved and there were only a few final approvals to come and that <br />he anticipated being ready for the Selectmen's Classification Hearing. <br />The Director announced the hiring of two new employees, Trish Keliinui and <br />Rowela Kent, and wanted to officially welcome them to the office. Their <br />immediate tasks are to catch up on the backlog of work from the four months <br />since the retirement of the two previous Administrative Secretaries in early July. <br />The new staff will be taking on the newly restructured positions of Administrative <br />Secretary and Administrative Assistant. <br />• Discussion and recommendation for the Water District Commissioners and <br />Board of Selectmen regarding the Classification Hearings <br />After discussion, the Board of Assessors instructed the Director to inform the <br />Selectmen and Commissioners that they recommend a single tax rate of I" with no <br />discount for Open Space, no Small Business Exemption and no Residential <br />Exemption. <br />-2- <br />
