VOTE: Yes-3 Roll Call Vote: John Bartos, yes; Gregg Fraser, yes, Paul Andrews, yes • Office Update from Director of Assessing — Jason Streebel Director Streebel gave an update to the Board regarding the revaluation process with the Dept. of Revenue. Mr. Streebel stated that valuations and new growth had been approved and there were only a few final approvals to come and that he anticipated being ready for the Selectmen's Classification Hearing. The Director announced the hiring of two new employees, Trish Keliinui and Rowela Kent, and wanted to officially welcome them to the office. Their immediate tasks are to catch up on the backlog of work from the four months since the retirement of the two previous Administrative Secretaries in early July. The new staff will be taking on the newly restructured positions of Administrative Secretary and Administrative Assistant. • Discussion and recommendation for the Water District Commissioners and Board of Selectmen regarding the Classification Hearings After discussion, the Board of Assessors instructed the Director to inform the Selectmen and Commissioners that they recommend a single tax rate of I" with no discount for Open Space, no Small Business Exemption and no Residential Exemption. -2-
