Board members signed the <br /> document. <br /> Applicant: Southport-on Cape Cod Development LIC <br /> Location: Southport retirement community, Phase III, Section 1 <br /> Request: Removal of 12 trees behind Building## 5 <br /> Chairman waygan read Southport's request to remove 12 trees located behind Building 2 . 1r. <br /> Fudala highlighted the new tree-procedures at Southport, which requires Planning Board approval to <br /> remove the trees. Rots Bonvie distributed plans and photos to members of the.Board 'Identifying the <br /> trees requiring removal. -Mr. Bonvie reported that the walk-around had been completed with Nor. <br /> Rowley and members of Southport's Landscape Committee. According to the policy, trees were <br /> identified prior to the construction oft the building. Should trees require eventual removal, a walk- <br /> around is-completed and approval sought from the Planning Board. Mr. Bonvie stated that the trees <br /> in question were primarily dead, although he made every effort to save them. Mr_ Bonvie stated <br /> that most of the root systems were within 3-5 feet of the building and that some limbs were hanging <br /> over the building. The tree count had been increased to 15.
