Mashpee Planning Board <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> April 4,2012 at 7: o p.m. <br /> Selectmen's Meeting Room, Mashpee Town Hall <br /> Planning Board Members Present: Chairman Mary waygaxt, Clerk George Petersen, Dennis <br /> .lz- a-arni, David Kooharian <br /> Absent: Vice Chair Joe Mullin <br /> Also Present: Toni udala-Town Planner <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> The Town of Mashpee Planning Board meeting was opened with a quorurm in the Selectmen's <br /> Meeting loom at Mashpee Town Sall by Chairman waygan at 7:00 p_rn. on Wednesday, April 4, <br /> 2012 and the Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br /> APPROVAL OF MUCMS lurch 2 1, 2012 <br /> MOTION: Dennis Babarini made a motion that the minutes of the meeting of March 21., <br /> 212 be approved as amended. George Petersen seconded the motion. The motion was <br /> unanimously apprd. <br /> SPELL PERMff <br /> Southworth, wiilowbend, LLC <br /> request was submitted for a written approval of transfer of special permit rights and <br /> responsibilities from current owners to Southworth Mashpee Properties, LLC, per the conditions of <br /> 1985 zoning by-law subsection 9.3827, <br /> Jack McElhinny, GeneW Counsel for willowbend County Club, Inc., introduced himself to the <br /> Board, along with David Wood, wil to bend COO, and Martin n LaConte, Southworth Development <br /> Counsel. Mr_ McE ey stated that the Fireman-fly, current owners of Willowbend, has <br /> entered into an agreement to sell the WIllowbend Country Club and the remaining development <br /> bonds. David Southworth is a principal of Southworth Mashpee Properties and a former CEO of <br /> wil to vbend Country Club until 2001. The intent of the buyer is to continue on the t <br /> willubend track, and plans to the Club as one of the finest on the fie. The transaction <br /> is due to close the latter part of May_ Mr. McElhinny sued that willowbend is requesting the <br /> transfer of the rights of the ownership to Southworth M pee Properties, LLC. <br /> Torn Fudala stated that two important issues that David Southworth needed to be aware of are the <br /> sewer plan and the public ways. Mr. McElhinny stated-that Mr. Southworth is cogm'zant of these <br /> issues. Mr. McElhinny stated that he plans to continue to work with Southworth Mashpee <br /> Properties, LLC, the new owners of the Willowbend Country Club. <br /> MOTION: Dennis Bah:ari.ni made a motion that the Planning Board approve the request for <br /> transfer of special permit rights and responsibilities from current owners to Southworth <br /> Mashpee Properties, LLC, per the provisions of 1985 Zoning By-Law Suction 9.3827. <br /> George Petersen seconded the motion.
