Fudala shared a Cape Cod Commission spreadsheet detailing actions from the 2005 Land <br /> Use Studer from the NfldK 11r.Fudala will be ceding the next Technical Committee meeting <br /> for Planners. Mr. Ko harian reported that there would be an upcoming meeting. <br /> New Business <br /> Discussion with 'Town Counsel Regarding Drainage, Slope Relative to Town Road <br /> Taking Plans-Mr. Fudala reported that he and Mr. Rowley mended a meeting with Town <br /> Counsel, the"Town Manager and the DPW Director. Mr. Fud a stated that Town Counsel <br /> agreed that easements outside of the street layout for drainage should be shown on the plans or <br /> verbally indicated in the road takings. Town Counsel would be drafting a written <br /> recommendation to move forward oh the issue. Mr. Fudal referenced an example at the <br /> Pickerel Cove Subdivision with drainage located outside of the road layout with no easement and <br /> not included in the road taking. Mr. Fudala emphasized the need for clarity-to alloy access to <br /> the drainage. fir. Fudala added-dt there was less concern about slope easements where the <br /> slope was already stabilized. `mere was general agreement, at the Town Counsel meeting, that <br /> the Planning Board should be more involved earlier in the process in the future and that the <br /> engineers involved with the design will consult with the Planning Department regarding . <br /> easements and structures. The Chair expressed interest in being notified of public hearings and it <br /> was noted that the hearings appear on the Board of Selectmen agendas, which Mr. Fudala will <br /> forward to the Chair. Mr. Mullin inquired about Mashpee hiring Town Counsel from a local . <br /> firm and there was discussion regarding procurement law and savings from use of a local firm. <br /> C. Rowley Expense vouchers-Done at this time <br /> Town Road'Taking Plans-Moll call vote needed to sign the plans. <br /> MOTION: Mr. MuHin made a motion for a roll call vote to add the signing of the road <br /> takings,with no comments,approved at the Annual Town Meeting to the-agenda. Mr. <br /> Kooharian seconded the motion.
