(Planning Departments and selectmen) regarrding this <br /> mutual interest. <br /> Dennis Balarini voiced his support for the <br /> subcommittee decision to reduce th,e nomination to one <br /> district of concern., water resources, for a long-range <br /> benefit to the Town. <br /> The Chairman spoke to DEP guidelines and the federal <br /> Clean Water Act, stating that at some point in the future <br /> the Town will b'e required to clean up the water. <br /> Lee Gurney spore to the public concern that a DPC <br /> would stop all building to the detriment of the <br /> construction business and hone remodeling. Much attention <br /> has been given to the draft in order to clarify these <br /> issues. The draft proposal will not prohibit the <br /> maintenance and improvement of properties and will keep <br /> contractors and developers gainfully employed.
