Town of Mashpee <br /> Planning Board <br /> minutes of Meeting <br /> August 2,, 2000 <br /> The Town of Mashpee Planning Board 1 eetl_ng was called to <br /> order at Mashpee Town Hall, Conference Room # 1, 16 Great Neck <br /> Road North, Mashpee, Massachusetts a : 0 p.m. on Wednesday, <br /> August 2., 2000 . The vice Chairman, James Dorgan, presided. <br /> Board Merbers present: Dennis Bal arini, Clerk; James <br /> Dorgan, vice Chairman; Beverly Kane; and Martine Meij ering. <br /> Absent: Matthew F. Malone, Chairman. <br /> Also present: F. Thomas Fudala, Town Planner; Myra C. <br /> snchenic , Administrative Assistant; and- Charles L. Rowley, <br /> Consulting Engineer : 00 p.m. ) . <br /> The vice Chairman declared a quorum to be present and called <br /> the Meeting to order and addressed the first order of business. <br /> Preliminary Plan-Haystack Realty Trust/Jack Landers-Cawley <br /> Industrial Drive, Assessors Map 88, Blocks 29 and 3 <br /> Approval of 3-lot Preliminary Plan <br /> The vice Chairman recognized Jack Landers-Caul e , Engineer. <br /> By way of background information he spoke to the Industrial Park <br /> area stating he is the owner of a parcel of land that abuts the <br /> Barb; and that the present owner of the Park has had the <br /> opportunity to purchase said parcel located on the southeasterly <br /> side. <br /> References were being made to a Plan of Land entitled, <br /> "Preliminary subdivision Plan, Haystacks Realty Trust, J.E. <br /> Landers and Cauley, P.E. , dated /19n noting the location of <br /> the existing road, and a two lot parcel of land within a <br /> subdivision. The owner of the subdivision is requesting 3-lots <br /> be created from this parcel identi-fied as Dots 30B. A, and 29 . <br /> Lots 30B and 3 A conform to present zoning: Lot 29 does not meet <br /> frontage requirements. <br /> The Planning Board had previously suggested that Applicant <br /> meet with the Town Planner in an attempt to devise a plan that <br /> would conform as closely as possible to existing zoning <br /> regulations. A suggestion has been made that the parcel should <br /> be transferred to the community for their benefit. What is being <br /> proposed before the Board is a simple yet functional approach. <br /> Mr. Landers-Cauley summarized there are two existing lots, <br /> 30A/3B and 29 . The proposal is to divide the southeasterly lot <br /> in half; to provide proper frontage for the northwesterly lot in <br /> order to made it developable, which lot is zoned Industrial in <br />
