Bill Blaisdell asked; "if the Board grants something tonight it would have to be <br />contingent upon the Planning Board agreeing that we now have contingent dates <br />and if we were to grant an extension, are you willing to give us a plan to show us <br />that you are actually going to do something?" <br />Michael Ford addressed the Board and said; "the Planning Board Special Permit <br />is already extended to the April 14, 2014 date under the Permit Extension Act." <br />Bill Blaisdell asked; "would you be asking us to extend the existing <br />Comprehensive Permit up to the same date, referring to the Findings 1-23 of the <br />memo?" <br />Michael Ford said; "yes, Findings 1-23 of the memo simply state the Planning <br />Board Special Permit and the Comprehensive Permit are coterminous." <br />Bill Blaisdell said; "according to Pat Costello, the Board is not in violation of any <br />meeting laws. <br />Doug Storrs said; "in fact, Pat Costello stated in his email dated Friday, March 22, <br />2013; "A full public hearing under GL c. 40B is not required to implement an <br />insubstantial change to a comprehensive permit." <br />John Dorsey asked; "what will happen on April 2, 2014." <br />Doug mentioned in order to preserve the permit, four houses have to be under <br />construction prior to April 2, 2014. The construction will start this fall. The <br />financing of this project will be the real challenge. <br />Bill Blaisdell made a motion to approve the request for an open discussion from <br />Job -Whitings Trust of Chapter 40B Mashpee Commons Comprehensive Permit <br />granted to Jobs -Whitings Trust on February 7, 2007 for property located off Rt. <br />151 and Rt. 28 comprised of parcels shown as Map 73, Lot 10, Map 74, Lot 34 <br />and Map 74, Lot 20 is granted. This is contingent upon the extension of the <br />Planning Board Special Permit that expires on April 2, 2014 to coincide with <br />expiration date be the same for the Comprehensive Permit issued by Zoning <br />Board of Appeals and references the letter and Findings 1-23, dated March 8, <br />2013 sent to Jonathon Furbush, Chairman of Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals, <br />from Doug Storrs on behalf of Jobs -Whitings Trust and a letter from Town <br />Council, Patrick Costello, dated March 22, 2013 sent to Jonathan Furbush, <br />Chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals related to this matter. <br />John Dorsey, second the motion.
