Petrie Book: 17869, Page: 16 <br /> 31 Sand Dollar Lane Map 105 Parcel 86 <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> A Petition was filed on June 21, 2013 by Glen M. Petrie and Beverly C. <br /> Petrie requesting a Written Finding under §174-17 of the Zoning By-laws and <br /> M.G.L. Chapter 40A Section 6§ concerning continuance, extension or alteration <br /> of pre-existing, non-conforming structures to allow for construction to raze and <br /> replace a dwelling on property located in an R-3 Zoning District at 31 Sand Dollar <br /> Lane (Map 105 Parcel 86) Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on July 5, <br /> 2013 and July 12, 2013, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part <br /> hereof. <br /> On July 24, 2013, Public Hearings were held on the Petition at the <br /> Mashpee Town Hall at which time the following members of the Board were <br /> present and acting throughout: Board Members Jonathan D. Furbush, William A. <br /> Blaisdell, Ronald S. Bonvie, James Reiffarth, John M. Dorsey, and Associate <br /> Members Domingo K. DeBarros and Richard J. Jodka. Also present was Richard <br /> Morgan, Building Commissioner. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to <br /> the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A §9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Mr. Thomas J. Bunker, Professional Land Surveyor, of BSS Design, Inc. <br /> represented the petitioners and prepared the plot plans. Mr. Glen Petrie, <br /> homeowner was also present. Mr. Bunker stated the current home is located in the <br /> West End of Sand Dollar Lane and is not in the special permitted section of New <br /> Seabury or Popponesset Overlay. The dwelling is presently a non-conforming <br /> home and the proposal is to raze and replace with minor modifications. <br /> 1 <br />
