s <br />Town of Mashpee <br />` d 76 Gtrnt -jYeck'lZoarC✓Vonh <br />46 4b hlashpee Mmsachusetts 02649 <br />MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br />AUGUST 28, 2013 <br />MINUTES <br />The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held Public Hearings on Wednesday, August 28, <br />2013, at 6:00 p.m. in the Ockway Conference Room at the Mashpee Town Hall, 16 Great <br />Neck Road North. Board Members Jonathan D. Furbush, William A. Blaisdell, James <br />Reiffarth, Ronald S. Bonvie, and Associate Member, Domingo K. DeBarros Building <br />Commissioner Richard E. Morgan, was also present. Board Member John M. Dorsey and <br />Associate Member Richard Jodka were absent. <br />John A. and Cvnthia Bartos: Request a Written Finding under §174-17 of the Zoning <br />By-laws and M.G.L. Chapter 40A §6 concerning continuance, extension or alteration of <br />pre-existing, non -conforming structure to allow for construction of a shed on property <br />located in an R-5 Zoning District at 28 Valerie Circle, (Map 37 Parcel 80A) Mashpee, MA. <br />Cynthia Bartos, homeowner, presented her petition to the Board requesting to install a new <br />10 foot by 14 foot shed replacing the 10 foot by 12 foot shed, on a pre-existing, non- <br />conforming lot. The new shed will boarder an undeveloped parcel, will eliminate the close <br />proximity to the side setback, and will be well under the required lot coverage. The shed <br />will be used for storing all power equipment, lawn mower, and snow blower, etc. and not <br />be substantially more detrimental to the neighborhood. <br />Jonathan Furbush stated with the odd shape and topography of the lot; he approves of the <br />new location for the shed. <br />Jonathan Furbush made a motion to approve the petition for the new shed. Bill Blaisdell <br />second, yes, Votes: Ron Bonvie yes, Jim Reiffarth, yes, Dom DeBarros, yes. . <br />Mary Anne McGonagle. Trustee: Request a Variance under § 174-31 of the Zoning By- <br />laws (Land Space Requirement) and M.G.L. Chapter 40A §10 to vary the square foot <br />requirements on property located in an R-5 Zoning District at 104 Pimlico Pond Road, <br />(Map 3 Parcel 1) Mashpee, MA. Vote on request for continuance of hearing scheduled on <br />Wednesday, September 11, 2013. (Continued, not heard). <br />Jim Reiffarth read the memo from the Conservation Department dated August 27, 2013; <br />"104 Pimlico Pond Rd has not filed anything with the Conservation Department yet. A <br />portion of the property is within wetland jurisdiction." <br />Jonathan read the letter from Wynn and Wynn Attorneys dated August 19,2013; requesting <br />• continuance of the hearing until Wednesday, September 11, 2013. <br />1 <br />
