The appointed hour having arrived, the Chairman called
the Public Hearing in this matter to order. She recognized
David Crispin, Civil. Bnginee.r, BC Group who presented and
made reference to a plan of land entitled, "'Christopher
Lane Definitive subdivision-Christopher Lane in Mashpee, MA
(Barnstable County) Grading Plan, dated June 3, 2003,
prepared for Chris Johnson by BSC Group" .
Mr. Crispin explained the matter to be a re-
subdivision, the original subdivision having been designed
approximately twenty-five gears ago. He spore to those
lots which have been sold, the street right of way, and the
.road layout changes that have been made in order to create
six new lots .
Mr. Crispin pointed -out the two exceptions that do not
comply with the subdivision regulations . The centerline
radius does not parallel the stret layout. The angle is
one half a degree off the minimum requirement . However, he
feels the roadway is safe with adequate site distance in
both directions making for a safe intersection. He made
reference to storm drainage, road layout, catch basins and
groundwater recharge retention basin. A leaching pit has
- been- in c luded-:. - -Town-- ratter ks being- -proposed-; both. existing- -
and proposed hydrants were pointed out.
The Town Planner indicated zoning violation, roof
drainage being directed into a leaching pit . He suggested
it be directed into a grasser area instead.
(Richard 'ferry arrived at the Meeting at this point
7 : 0 p.m. )
Mr. Crispin made reference to his letter dated July 2,
2003, addressed to the Mashpee Planning Board, regarding
the Christopher Lane subdivision, in response to a- memo
from the Consulting Engineer of the same date .
The Town Planner made reference to a -memo received
from the DPW Director dated June 16th indicating upon
Planning Board review Applicant would be required to obtain
a curb cut permit onto Quinaquisset Avenue, and that a Five
Thousand ( , o 0 0. 0 0) Dollar Bond will be required upon
filing the application.
The Town Planner requested further explanation of the
drainage design and denitrif ication of stormwater.
