Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper of <br /> general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on August 23, 2013 and August 30, 2013 a <br /> copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> On September 11, 2013 Public Hearings were held on this Petition at the Mashpee <br /> Town Hall at which time the following Board members were present, Vice Chairman, <br /> William A. Blaisdell, Cleric,Ronald S. Bonvie,Board Member,James Reiffarth,Associate <br /> Members, Domingo K. DeBarros, and Richard Jodka, and Building Commissioner, <br /> Richard Morgan. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provision of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A §9 and the Town of Mashpee <br /> Zoning By-laws. <br /> Tom Bunker, of BSS Design represented the applicant's raze and replace project. <br /> The current home was built around 1900, with dimensions consisting of 35' X 24' and is <br /> in disrepair. As a result, the homeowners chose to raze and replace their current dwelling <br /> and submitted plans for a new two-story building with proposed dimensions consisting of <br /> 43' X 36' that is less than half the allowed lot coverage. The existing home is 815 square <br /> feet and 2.9% lot coverage. The proposed new 3-bedroom home will be approximately <br /> 1,891 square feet and will be 6.8% lot coverage. The new dwelling will not be substantial <br /> more detrimental and conform to other homes in the neighborhood. <br /> There were no comments from abutters. <br /> 1 <br />
