Special Permit issued to: <br /> One Wampanoag Drive Cape Cod United Church Homes, Inc. <br /> (Map 66 Parcel 1-0-R) Dated: February 27, 1974 <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> A Petition was filed on August 30, 2013 by TCB Mashpee Village Inc. requesting <br /> a minor modification to the 1974 Special Permit under §174-24(C) 9 (a) (b) of the Zoning <br /> By-laws and M.G.L. Chapter 40A §6 to allow for construction of a single additional <br /> accessory building on property located in an R-5 Zoning District at One Wampanoag <br /> Drive, (Map 66 Parcel 1-0-R), Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise,a newspaper of general <br /> circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on September 20, 2013 and September 27, 2013 a <br /> copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Abutter notification was not <br /> required for this minor modification. <br /> On October 9, 2013, Public Hearings were held on the Petition at the Mashpee <br /> Town Hall at which time the following members of the Board were present and acting <br /> throughout: Chairman, Jonathan D. Furbush, Vice Chairman, William A. Blaisdell, Board <br /> Members, James Reiffarth and Richard Jodka, and Associate Member, Domingo K. <br /> DeBarros. <br /> Representing TCB Mashpee Village, the petitioner was Stephanie A. Kiefer, <br /> Attorney of Smolak & Vaughn, Greg Pierce, Engineer, Kevin Olsen of Wright-Pierce <br /> Engineering and Jim Perrine of Community Builders Inc. Stephanie provided a letter dated <br /> October 9,2013 for a minor modification as part of the Special Permit granted to Cape Cod <br /> United Church Homes dated 1974. Prior to submission of the materials she met with Mr. <br /> Morgan and reviewed the project to present to the Zoning Board of Appeals. <br /> Stephanie stated this project would fall under the Special Permit, a cluster <br /> residential development as well as apartment buildings with certain areas that were set <br /> aside for open space under the 1973 Bylaw Section 9.3. The request for a minor <br /> modification includes an accessory structure and a centralized wastewater treatment <br /> system. <br /> 1 <br />
