Town of Mashpee <br />• J _ <br />16 Gre6/�recl ?toad Anh <br />hlashpee, Wassachusetrs 02649; <br />MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br />NOVEMBER 13, 2013 <br />MINUTES <br />The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held Public Hearings on Wednesday, November <br />13, 2013, at 6:00 p.m. in the Ockway Conference Room at the Mashpee Town Hall, 16 <br />Great Neck Road North. Present were Board Members, Jonathan D. Furbush, Ronald <br />Bonvie, James Reiffarth, Richard Jodka, Associate Members, Domingo K. DeBarros and <br />Scott Goldstein, and Building Commissioner, Richard E. Morgan. Board Member, William <br />Blaisdell was absent. <br />Jonathan Furbush opened the meeting at 6:00 pm and announced the meeting was not <br />televised. He introduced Scott Goldstein as the new Associate Board Member. <br />CONTINUED HEARINGS <br />Michael and Lori Laskin Bloom: Request a Written Finding under Article V § 174-17 of <br />• the Zoning By-laws and M.G.L. Chapter 40A §6 concerning continuance, extension or <br />alteration of a pre-existing, non -conforming structure to raze and replace a dwelling on <br />property located in an R3 Zoning District at 17 Overlook Knoll Road, (Map 118 Parcel <br />36), Mashpee, MA (Continued from October 23, 2013 hearings). <br />Michael and Lori Laskin Bloom: Request a Written Finding under Article V §174-20 of <br />the Zoning By-laws and M.G.L. Chapter 40A §6 By-laws concerning rebuilding of <br />destroyed or damaged non -conforming structures to allow for rebuilding of a single-family <br />dwelling on property located in an R3 Zoning District at 17 Overlook Knoll Road (Map <br />118 Parcel 36), Mashpee, MA (Continued from October 23, 2013 hearings). <br />Michael and Lori Laskin Bloom: Request a Variance under Article VII § 174-31 (Land <br />Space Requirements) of the Zoning By-laws to vary the rear, front and side setback <br />requirements to raze and replace a new single-family dwelling on property located in an R- <br />3 Zoning District at 17 Overlook Knoll Road (Map 118 Parcel 36), Mashpee, MA. <br />(Continued from October 23, 2013 hearings). <br />John Slavinsky, Cape & Island Engineering presented the petition for Lori Bloom. Also <br />present was Architect Michael Jimerson. John provided a current plot and proposed plot <br />plan of the dwelling situated on 6,375 square feet and located in the Popponesset Overlay <br />District. The existing setback on Overlook Knoll is 19.7 feet and on the southeasterly <br />property line the existing setback is 7.4 feet. The existing setback on Seaview Avenue is <br />• 23.1 feet and on the northwesterly property line the setback is 32.9 feet <br />
