MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br />NOVEMBER 13, 2013 <br />MINUTES <br />The Board requested updated structure and setback plans prior to the next hearing date. <br />Mashpee Economic Development & Industrial Corporation: Request a Special Permit <br />under 174-25 (F) (3) (Automobile Repair Shop) to allow for construction of a new building <br />Preventative Maintenance on property located in an I-1 Zoning District at 117 Industrial <br />Drive (Map 88 Parcel 29-0-E), Mashpee, MA. <br />Paul Iwaszko, that resides at 85 Great Pines Drive was present and has concerns with hours <br />of operation on Industrial Drive and asked for clarification. The Board stated the hours of <br />operation would be documented in the Special Permit. He can also speak with Tom Fudala <br />in the Planning Department. <br />The Board read- a letter, of -extension into the record from Attomey Mark Gildea_dated -- <br />November 13, 2013, 45 -days to allow the applicant time to a&ress the issues raised by the <br />Board of Health. <br />The Zoning Board is requesting another letter of extension until "January 8, 2014 hearings <br />because there are no more Zoning Board meetings scheduled in November and only one <br />meeting scheduled in December. <br />• Mr. Furbush approved the 45 -day letter of extension, yes, Mr. Bonvie, second, yes, Votes: <br />Mr. Reiffarth, yes, Mr. Jodka, yes, Mr. DeBarros, yes. All were in favor. <br />OTHER BUSINESS: <br />Mashpee Commons: To discuss Comprehensive Permit Petitions for 40B Minor <br />Boundary Adjustment, 40B Minor Modification of Phase & Mix, and Mashpee Commons <br />Boundary Adjustment. <br />John Connell, representative of Mashpee Commons provided documents and plot plans <br />that show the boundary changes and building type documents of the phase and mix. He <br />stated the petitions are uncomplicated boundary changes that effect the Special Permit and <br />the 40B Comprehensive Permit. These are "house -keeping" applications that require <br />Zoning Board approval, and would then require approval by land court. The second petition <br />includes the new building type phasing and mix portion of the Comprehensive Permit to <br />be updated and clarified for today's market. He stated the Planning Board has documented <br />approval and will provide a signed document before their scheduled hearing dated <br />December 11, 2013. He working with Mass Housing on the 40B to avoid a major <br />modification. <br />Mr. Reiffarth is concerned with the traffic flow on Jobs Fishing Road. He stated there was <br />an issue with parking under the first project and would like to see the paving shown on the <br />• plans for Phase 2. Mr. Furbush concluded he will provide Town Counsel with the updated <br />documents for his review. No voting required for this discussion. <br />
