Owner of record: <br /> Mashpee Commons II LLC. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a <br /> newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on June 8, and June 15, 2012, <br /> a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> Public Hearings were held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on June 27, <br /> 2012. The following members of the Board were present and acting throughout: Board <br /> Members Jonathan D. Furbush, William A. Blaisdell, James Reiffarth, Ronald S. Bonvie <br /> and Judith M. Horton. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A §9 and the Town of Mashpee <br /> Zoning By-laws. <br /> Mr. Rich Pretorius of Pretorius Electric and Sign Co. and Mr. Mann Braga of <br /> Cornerstone Design/Build Services, Inc. represented the Petition. Mr. Pretorius said that <br /> each of the Panera Bread signs will be 57.92 square feet in size. Mr. Braga explained that <br /> the signs are actually letters attached to the siding of the building. Given that the <br /> Petitioner has frontage on two streets, one sign will face Route 28 and the other will face <br /> Steeple Street. Each of the corner blade signs will be 6.25 square feet in size. Total <br /> square footage of all of the signs is approximately 120 square feet. The total square <br /> footage of both walls is 2,600 square feet. This falls below the By-law maximum which <br /> allows signs up to 10%of the aggregate square footage of a front wall area. <br /> The Design Review Committee approved the proposal on March 20, 2012. <br /> No comments were received from abutters. <br />
