Selectmen Lhu*son-Selectman Richardson reported that all I l articles passed at Town Meeting. <br /> Selectman Richardson also reported that the Affordable Housing Committee recommended <br /> moving forward on the deed restricted one bedroom condominium facing foreclosure. <br /> Selectman Richardson has requested a liter from the Committee in order to convene a-meeting <br /> of the Affordable Mousing Trust. The Chair recommended that anyone interested in the <br /> property should contact the Housing Assistance Co +on... The Recycling Committee will <br /> be making recommendations about improving the recycling rate. Recycling has unproved +7- <br /> % but there has been no increase m revenue.due to the cost of trash. Activity has increased <br /> with the water Collaborative, possibly triggered by the potential Conservation Law <br /> Foundation. Mr. Fuckla reported that the county funded effort to have an intermediary working <br /> with the towns connected to the Popponesse t watershed and the Eastern Waquoit watershed t <br /> create a-fair-share-methodology and develop a memorandum of understanding. Nor. Fudala also <br /> reported that a peer review of the Massachusetts Estuary model will be conducted through the <br /> County but that the National Academy of Sciences will also be conducting a review. Mr. <br /> Fudala also reported that the Cape Cod Commission will be presenting their county wastewater <br /> management plan during meetings held by watershed. The Popponessett Watershed meeting <br /> will take place at Town Hall on October 28 at 7 pm. Selectman Richardson reported that the <br /> CB AC Committee i s looking into solar ptions for the Town and the establishment of a dog <br /> parr is bung pursued. Selectman Richardson will be training library volunteers. <br /> Environmental Oversight Committee-No report at this time <br /> Design Review Committee-to report at this time <br /> Community Preservation Committe The Chair reported that an article allocating 10%of the <br /> award to historic and affordable housing-was approved and that the i o°/o for open space will be <br /> used to pay for past purchases. The CPC is currently receiving applications for funding <br /> projects that address historic, affordable housing and recreation concerns. The application <br /> deadline is November 9. <br /> Historic District Commission-No recent meetings <br /> OLD BSMSS <br /> Discussion of Proposed Zoning B ►4aw Amendments Regarding signs <br /> The next meet i ng will be on October 28. Mr_ Fudala noted that the question will be whether to switch <br /> over to a general bylaw rather than Zoning in order to simplify the prods. <br /> .
