The store now encroached on the sidewalk and concern was expressed that the <br /> space will again be a safety issue. All voted unanimously. <br /> BOARD ITEMS <br /> Chairman's Report-The Chair reported that the sign code bylaw is in subcommittee and more meetings <br /> have been set as a limit. Discussion has occurred about converting the bylaw to a general bylaw. As a <br /> zoning bylaw, suns are grandfathered and if it becomes a genera bylaw,the Planning Board will not review the <br /> applications. Chairman waygan has contacted business owners for additional feedback about the value of <br /> grandfathering. <br /> Reports <br /> Selectmen Liaison-SelectmanRichardson reported thata letter has been received from the Affordable <br /> Dousing Committee regarding the deed restricted one bedroom condominium facing foreclosure and the <br /> Board of Selectmen will be reviewing the request at the next meeting. The bank foreclosure <br /> proceedings are on hold until the BOS des a decision. Chairman waygan announced that anyone <br /> interested in purchasing the condo unit should end HAC at 0 - l- o to be placed on the"ready <br /> to buy"' list. Selectman Richardson reported that the library held its celebration last week and received <br /> citation for the 1 lashpee Reach Program. Selectman Richardson repotted that the water Collaborative <br /> is very active and noted that the"no plow" list is larger than last year and will soon be published in the <br /> paper and on t.v. Selectman Richardson also noted that there was a good turnout for the election. <br /> Environmental oversight Committee-Mr. Peter questioned his appointment to the E C by the <br /> S.
