The Chairman recognized Dave Barry who presented a plan entitled, "Proposed septic Design for Dave Barry, 90 Pe not Avenue, Lots 1129-1133, Mashpee, MA, by sweetser .Engineering., Dated January 16, 2007, Revised March 151 2007 The Chairman made reference to Mr. Rowley' s report, a copy of which Mr. Barry received this evening. The Chairman commented that Mt. Rowley is requesting a revised plan showing the proposed upgrade for the roadway, noting that the plan submitted is for the septic design. The Town Planner suggested that perhaps the Board and Mr. Rowley could advise the Applicant with regard to road width and type of surface. . Rowley commented that he believes something less than a full paved surface could work. References were being made to the computerized reap; Mr. Rowley identified the area where the testing had been done for the septic system. He also made reference to the around contour and to a mound of dirt located where the driveway would turn into the lot . He indicated that spot would have to b graded out in order to make the area level and adequate for a turn around. Mr. Rowley suggested the grade be curt down at the high point so that the grade could be leveled in both directions so that a gravel road with asphalt materials could be constructed. Mr. Rowley also reported that he has had a discussion with Fire Chief Baker who feels it is not necessary to require a 20-ft. road as said road would be access to one single-family house. They both agree that approximately 1 -ft . would be adequate to access one house. . Rowley reiterated that grading issues need to be addressed and that the turn around has to be expanded and made safe for cars to turn around and not go over the bank. He also mentioned the grading towards the driveway b leveled in order to avoid runoff and erosion impacts towards Attaquin Pond. r.
