Filed 41 01 <br /> Richard Ferreira presented plans and explained that there were originally four lots and <br /> they got a variance to combine two lots. Torte Fudala said that a public hearing was <br /> needed and that the Planning Board was looking for a waiver of road regulations. He <br /> explained that part of the land is registered and part of it is un-registered.. <br /> Abutter, Alan Stamm asked to see the plans, and he came up to view then. He had <br /> some concerns about street pavement. Some discussion followed. <br /> Torn Fudala distributed a letter from the Board of Health. As a condition, he explained, <br /> any new house had to be tired into town water. Mr. Stamm asked. if, indeed, only three <br /> houses were going to be built. Mr. Ferreira said yes. Jim Dorgan asked about <br /> confirmation regarding a waiver given on each lot. Torn Sousa verbally confirmed this. <br /> Somewhat lengthy discussion ensued regarding the paving/non-paving of the road. Mr. <br /> Stamm said he objected to the-street being paged because he feared that paving the <br /> road would generate too much tragic. Another abutter, Shirley Nurse Peters, also Mated <br /> that she preferred the road not be pared. <br /> Jim Dorgan asked if the Fire Department had been approached regarding the safety of <br /> the un-paged road. Attorney Jeremy Gotta said that the Fire Department had been <br /> contacted and that they did not have a problem with the road remain ing un-paged. <br /> Richard Terry reminded the abutters that they would have to pay for any erosion that <br /> occurred as a result of non-paving. Shirley expressed concern about the road being <br /> used as a cross-through to the Commons; especially by motorcycles. Jinn said he <br /> wanted to-see letters from both the Fire Department and the Department of Public <br /> Works stating that it was OK not to pave the road. <br /> Richard said that there could be.inguiries by future residents if the road were to remain <br /> unpaved. ,Jinn said. that, if the road was to remain unpaved, he wanted to sec some kind <br /> of engineering plans for the road. Richard brought up the problem of residents having to <br /> pay for gravel/maintenance of the road. <br /> s' <br /> Jim suggested that the hear*ng be continued to June . <br />
