MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br />• MINUTES <br />March 24, 2010 <br />The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held Public Hearings on Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at <br />the Mashpee Town Hall. Board Members Robert G. Nelson, John Dorsey, Jonathan Furbush, and <br />Associate Member Ronald S. Bonvie were present. Associate Member Peter Hinden and Board <br />Members James Reiffarth and William Blaisdell were not in attendance. <br />Mr. Nelson opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m. <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br />William Duffv: Informal discussion of a proposal to install a shed on property located at 7 <br />Nashawena Road (Map 117 Parcel 35) Mashpee, MA. <br />Mr. Nelson recognized Mr. Duffy who said that he is interested in installing a shed on his <br />property. The subject property abuts two roads and setback requirements make it difficult to <br />locate the shed without the need for Variance relief. Mr. Duffy said he would like to avoid that <br />cost. The Board suggested several locations for the proposed shed that would meet the setback <br />requirements. Mr. Duffy thanked the Board. <br />Accept March 10, 2010 Minutes <br />Mr. Furbush moved to accept the March 10, 2010 Minutes. Mr. Dorsey seconded the motion. <br />All were in agreement. <br />• Review Revised Comprehensive Permit Rules <br />Mr. Nelson referred to the memo from Attorney Jason Talerman advising the Board to review the <br />revised Comprehensive Permit rules. The rules now address a variety of issues, such as inclusion <br />of attorney's fees within the application fee. Attorney Talerman stated that the rules can be <br />adopted by a simple vote of the ZBA at a regular meeting. After being adopted, the rules must <br />then be filed with the Town Clerk in order to be applied to any upcoming Comprehensive Permit <br />Petitions. The Board examined the document carefully and discussed the improved changes to, <br />the rules: <br />At the Public Hearings on March 24, 2010, Mr. Dorsey moved to adopt the revised <br />Comprehensive Permit Rules. Mr. Bonvie seconded the motion. All were in agreement. <br />Mr. Nelson moved to adjourn the meeting. Mr. Dorsey seconded the motion. All were in <br />agreement.
