Town of Mashpee <br /> Planning Board Meeting <br /> April 1, 1998 <br /> To.* Patrick Coffey, Chairman <br /> From: Sonny DeArcangelis, Board Secretary <br /> n <br /> Date: April 8, 1998 <br /> '[ <br /> As requested, the following is that portion of the April 1, <br /> 1998 Planning Board Meeting as it relates to the Discussion with <br /> Board of Appeals Members-Local Comprehensive Plan. `�: • <br /> Chance Reichel informed the Board of a Discussion he and <br /> Patrick Coffey had with Mr. Govoni and Mr. Nelson of the Zoning � <br /> Board of Appeals (ZBA) on Thursday, March 26, 1998 . <br /> aj. <br /> Mr. Reichel reported the Discussion went fairly well. The W) <br /> ZBA is vehemently opposed to any consideration of case/work load ° i <br /> as mentioned within the Land Use Management section of the Plan- +'* <br /> Special Permit Authority. Mr.■ Govoni has stated the <br /> t e ZBA will not � . <br /> endorse the Plan or report to the Board of Selectmen that any <br /> issues have been resolved if this 'language remains. <br /> Mr, Reichel reported that Mr. Govoni made references to the <br /> Town of Sandwich Plan, stating his admiration thereof. Mr. IIJI <br /> Reichel stated he did not have the opportunity to read the <br /> Sandwich material thoroughly. Mr. Govoni stated he would. submit <br /> a Memo to the Selectmen -informing them that a Discussion hasp, <br /> taken place, some issues were positively discussed and there are <br /> outstanding issues remaining to be resolved before both Boards 'N <br /> can stand united in support of the Plan. <br /> The Town Planner noted that Mr. Govoni has stated such atr" <br /> the Selectmen' s Meeting. <br /> Mr. Reichel stated agreement had been reached whereby the , <br /> Chairman would notify Mr. Govoni regarding the decisions reached. <br /> at this Meeting, although he seemed uncertain as to whether or <br /> not all recommendations/finalization of ZBA concerns would be <br /> reached this evening. <br /> The Town Planner requested as many agreements as possible be <br /> made in order for him to make changes in preparation of the April {; <br /> fyJ <br /> 15th Meeting. ` <br /> ,fir.
