Mr. Fudala stated there are twelve <br /> ' k �' 'rk 12 Elements completed (Transportation/DPW issues need to be <br /> addressed) ; water Resources/Wastewater Facilities should be <br /> i completed by mid-July; Management and Growth Management should be <br /> ,tpd� completed b mid-August. The two optional Elements are Health <br /> � , p ■Y � � p , / <br /> Human Services and Energy which should also be completed by mid- <br /> ` " August. <br /> Mr. Fudala reminded Board Members that Planning Board <br /> approval of all Elements within the Plan are required. To date, <br /> none of the Elements have been adopted. Mr. Fudala suggested the <br /> Board devise a process for adopting/recommending the Plan for <br /> Town Meeting. He then raised the issue of certification of the <br /> ft" • Cape cod Commission/presentation at October Town Meeting. "The Town adopts the Local Comprehensive Plan <br /> as recommended by the Planning Board. . . " and " . . .as certified by <br /> the Cape Cod Commission. <br /> L• „ � There was some discussion regarding the possibility of <br /> _ E#` ? changes the Cape cod Commission could make after Town Meeting has <br /> voted <br /> � !� The Vice chairman inquired as to the possibility of <br /> � P y <br /> presentation at the Spring Town Meeting. Mr. Fudala answered the <br /> : reasoning to go forward sooner would be for the implication of <br /> development agreements and impact fees in connection with the <br /> Mashpee Commons Project. <br /> } � Dennis Balzarinl inquired as to issues the DPW Director has <br /> voiced in connection with the Transportation Element - Mr. Fudala <br /> � h reported a brief meeting has taken place between them. Mr. <br /> 'l Fudala further reported there- is too much within the proposed <br /> five year plan and that some projects are not to be Town funded. <br /> He proposed the reorganization of a five year-Town funded <br /> projects section to be worked out in conjunction with DPW. <br /> =� The Vice Chairman was in agreement with this approach <br /> statingthe DPW Director' s s input is needed. in order to proceed. <br /> p <br /> Although, this input would have to be forthcoming in a timely <br /> manner. Mr. Fudala reported that the Selectmen are also <br /> }� interested in having this issue resolved and would look to DPW <br /> r h <br /> for specific concerns. <br /> I ,+ ` <br /> Ali <br /> Dennis Balzarini inquired 'qu about public notification of the <br /> Plan. Mr. Fudala answered that if the Plan is ready by Au.gus t, <br /> there would be time for publicity before Town Meeting.
