Mashpee Zoning <br />Board of Appeals Minutes <br />• I March 1], 2009 <br />Zoning Board of Appeals <br />Minutes — Wednesday, March 11, 2009 <br />The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held a Public Hearing <br />on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at the Mashpee Town Hall. <br />Board Members Robert Nelson, John Dorsey, Jonathan <br />Furbush, and William Blaisdell along with alternate member <br />Peter Hinden were present. James Reiffarth was absent. <br />Robert Nelson opens the hearing at 7:00 pm. <br />Jonathan Furbush reads one matter that is to be withdrawn. <br />Shane Caiazzo: Requests a Special Permit from Section 174-17 and 174-20, <br />• and 174-24C of the Zoning By-laws to raze and replace the pre-existing non- <br />conforming structure on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 8 Chart Way <br />(Map 106 Parcel 16) Mashpee, MA. <br />Attorney Brian Garner who represents the applicant has asked this <br />matter to be withdrawn/w out prejudice. Robert Nelson makes a <br />motion to have the matter withdrawn. Jonathan Furbush seconds <br />the motion. All agree. The matter has been withdrawn. <br />Richard Proulx, Trust, Robb Realtv Trust: Requests a Variance from <br />Section 174-31 and 174-33 of the Zoning By-laws to seek relief from the setback <br />requirements and the distance to the wedlands in order to construct a pool on <br />property located in an R-5 zoning district at 29 Hamblin Road (Map 120 Parcel <br />32) Mashpee, MA <br />Sitting: Robert Nelson, Jonathan Furbush, John Dorsey, Peter <br />Hinden and William Blaisdell. <br />John Slavinsky of Cape & Islands Engineering represents the <br />• applicants Rick and Kara Proulx at this hearing. They have a 10 year <br />old autistic child and after much looking around in the Mashpee area, <br />they decided on this lot and house because they felt this could <br />accommodate an inground swimming pool in order that their autistic <br />
