Mashpee Zoning <br />Board of Appeals <br />• ,l <br />Minutes <br />April 22, 2009 <br />Zoning Board of Appeals <br />Minutes — Wednesday, April 22, 2009 <br />The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held a Public Hearing <br />on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at the Mashpee Town Hall. <br />Board Members Robert Nelson, John Dorsey, Jonathan <br />Furbush, James Reiffarth and William Blaisdell were present. <br />Alternate member Peter Hinden was absent. <br />Robert Nelson opened the hearing at 7:00 p.m. <br />]oseoh and Patricia Weinstein: Request a Variance from Section 174-47(B)(9) of <br />the Zoning By-laws to seek relief from the (cluster subdivision) by law and maintain the <br />• in -ground pool at 15 feet off the lot line on property located in an R-3 zoning district at <br />41 Taurus Drive (Map 94 Parcel 79) Mashpee, MA <br />Lori Corsi informs the Board that Mr. Weinstein has requested to withdraw his <br />variance request. Mr. Nelson makes a motion to accept the withdrawal and Jonathan <br />Furbush seconds the motion. This matter is withdrawn from the agenda. <br />]oseoh Dunne: Requests a Special Permit from Section 174-17 of the Zoning By-laws <br />in order to increase the lot coverage on a pre-existing non -conforming structure from <br />23.6% to 26.8% in order to have a 10'x 20' shed on property located in an R-3 zoning <br />district at 167 Wading Place Road (Map 111 Parcel 170) Mashpee, MA. <br />Josenh Dunne: Requests a Variance from Section 174-31 of the Zoning By-laws to <br />seek relief from the setback requirements in order to have a 10'x20' shed installed on <br />property located in an R-3 zoning district at 167 Wading Place Road (Map 111 Parcel <br />170) Mashpee, MA. <br />Sitting: Robert Nelson, Jonathan Furbush, James Reiffarth, William Blaisdell and John <br />Dorsey. <br />Attorney Mark Gildea represents the applicant at this hearing. He is seeking a <br />Variance and a Special Permit to have a 10 x 20 shed on his property. Mr. Gildea <br />• presents his case to the Board. He informs the Board that there are many other sheds <br />in the neighborhood and presents the Board with a folder containing pictures of the <br />
