Mashpee Zoning <br />Board of Appeals Minutes <br />4 May 13, 2009 <br />noise generating mechanical equipment shall be installed adjacent to 9 Chart <br />Way and shall be located on the Creek side. <br />Mr. Nelson commented on how well the presentation was and how the Board <br />appreciates the applicants efforts to accommodate his neighbors wishes and that <br />of the Town of Mashpee along with the affiliating Boards. <br />James Reiffarth makes a motion to grant the Special Permit. William Blaisdell <br />seconds the motion. All agree. Special Permit is conditioned on plot plan by <br />Engineering Works, Inc. of Forestdale and surveying done by Hood Survey Group <br />of Sandwich, dated January 5, 2009, revised February 5, 2009, February 10, <br />2009, February 12, 2009, April 9, 2009 and April 15, 2009. <br />Peter Aledda: Requests a Variance from Section 174-31 of the zoning by-laws in order <br />to seek relief from the setback requirements to expand existing living space on property <br />located in an R-3 zoning district at 116 Old Brickyard Road (Map 72 Parcel 13) Mashpee, <br />MA. <br />Sitting: Robert Nelson, Jonathan Furbush, James Reiffarth, William Blaisdell, John <br />Dorsey. <br />Peter Aledda represents himself at this hearing. He is seeking variance relief in <br />order to expand some existing living space in the front of the house. The existing <br />corner sits at 7 feet off the lot line and the new addition will only add another foot. The <br />new structure will be 6.1 feet off the lot line. The Board reviews the plans and mention <br />he has plenty of room to the street side and the lot is very small. The proposed lot <br />coverage would be 14.1%. The Board finds this to be reasonable and James Reiffarth <br />makes a motion to grant an 8.9 foot variance on the southerly side. Jonathan Furbush <br />seconds the motion. All agree. So moved. Reference plans from Cape & Islands <br />Engineering, dated March 17, 2009. <br />Other Business: <br />✓ Bob Nelson asks Lori Corsi to type up memos for re -appointments for Jim and Bill <br />since their term is up June 30, 2009 and they have expressed a desire to remain <br />for another term. <br />James Reiffarth makes a motion to adjourn. William Blaisell seconds the motion. All <br />agree.
