Mashpee Zoning <br />Board of Appeals Minutes <br />I April 9, 2048 <br />Zoning Board of Appeals <br />Minutes — Wednesday, April 9, 2008 <br />The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held a Public Hearing on <br />Wednesday, March 26, 2008. at the Mashpee Town Hall. Board <br />Members Robert Nelson, Jonathan Furbush, William Blaisdell; and <br />James Reiffarth were present. Board Members Zella Elizenberry and <br />was absent. Alternate Board Member Peter Hinden was absent. <br />Robert Nelson opens the hearing at 7:25 p.m. (2 late arrivals) <br />Jonathan Furbush reads the continuances <br />John McShane: 90 day update/review on Sparrow Lane.: <br />Mr. McShane discusses the first phase — the bank will not give him financing to <br />continue his projects until he sells the two (1) bedroom units that are for sale. <br />He has a minor punch list left that he is working on. The top coat of paving <br />should be complete in 45 days. The tenants are not paying their association <br />dues and Mr. McShane is working with Darrin Weeks from Cape Cod five to have <br />the dues rolled into their mortgage. On the new phase, the entry needs to be <br />spruced up and he is working on that. Mr. Nelson appreciates his time and asks <br />him to continue to move forward with everything. He wants Mr. McShane to <br />come back in 94 days again to see how things are progressing. <br />Informal Discussion: 440 Nathan Ellis Highway — potential applicant has <br />questions as to what type of Special Permit (or if one is needed) in order to <br />operate/sell stone products and the like. <br />Steve Mckee is here before the board asking to see what he would need in order <br />to open up a business to sell masonry products. He tells the board he would be <br />piling the stones in the front and also have some product inside the back in the <br />garage area. He is about to sign a lease with the owner Harbor View Realty. A <br />prior leasee called House and Lumber had a special permit to sell sheds and keep <br />the sheds in the front of the storefront. The Board discusses the applicant going <br />to Design Review first to let them see what he intends to do. After some further <br />discussion with the Building Inspector, Lori Corsi lets Mr. McKee know that he <br />needs to apply for a special permit since the other special permit was in 2003 <br />
