Mashpee Zoning <br />Board of Appeals Minutes <br />is <br />I October 8, 2008 <br />Zoning Board of Appeals <br />Minutes — Wednesday, October 8, 2008 <br />The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held a Public Hearing on <br />Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at the Mashpee Town Hall. Board <br />Members Robert Nelson, James Reiffarth, William Blaisdell and Jack <br />Dorsey were present. Member Jonathan Furbush was absent. <br />Alternate member Peter Hinden was also present. <br />Chairman Robert Nelson opens the hearing at 7:00 p.m. <br />Mr. Nelson informs Community and the Board that on Monday <br />night at the Board of 'F.�_lectmen's Meeting, Zella Elizenberry resigned <br />as an alternate member of the Zoning Board of Appeals. The ZBA <br />• accepts Ms. Elizenberry c resignation with regret and Mr. Nelson says <br />what a great asset she was to the Board with her wealth of <br />knowledge about affordable housing. She will be greatly missed. <br />Continued Matters <br />Daniel Aver: Requests a Variance from Section 174-31 of the Zoning By-laws to <br />seek relief from the setback requirements in order to build a three -season room <br />and a deck on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 11 Oneida Avenue <br />(Map 65 Parcel 44) Mashpee, MA. <br />Sitting: Robert Nelson, Peter Hinden, James Reiffarth and Jack Dorsey. <br />(applicant was made aware that there would only be 4 members sitting <br />at tonights hearing and was made aware he would have his hearing <br />continued to a full complement of members ... Mr. Cook will proceed <br />with the present 4 members) <br />Seutember 24. 2008 <br />Attorney John Kenney and Steve Cook, Architect from Cotuit Bay Design <br />• represent the applicant at this hearing. They are seeking a variance for <br />setback relief in order to add additional living space to the first floor. The <br />lot is burdened with all frontages which require 40 foot setbacks. The <br />
