In fiscal year 2023 most would be
purchased outright with the exception of the loader which would be a lease-purchase spread over
three years. The trailer is used to transport the beach rake and other large equipment and it is
replacing one from 2002. The Town Manager stated that he will continue to review all vehicles in
the Town to determine if when to declare them surplus or if they can be utilized by another
department. If not, items are auctioned via an online auction system.
The Committee had no questions except whether to lease or purchase. It was the consensus of the
CIP to continue with the purchase with the exception of large items such as the loader.
• Information Technology Total CIP Request$50,000
FISCAL YEAR 2023 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
Department: Information Technology
Submitted by: David DelVecchio
Summary
Prior Funds
Project (Short Title) Appropriated FY2023
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
VMWare Server-Town Hall $ - $ 50,000
Total Information Technology $ - $ 50,000
